Prema
announces its Formula Renault 2.0 drivers
Prema
is pleased to announce the conclusion of the agreements with
the drivers that will escort Kamui Kobayashi in the Formula
Renault 2.0 Italia and Eurocup. They will be Italian Matteo
Chinosi, Brazilian Patrick Rocha and Frenchman Tom Dillmann.
Matteo will be devoted exclusively to the Formula Renault
2.0 Italia Championship while Patrick and Tom will participate
in the European series.
"I am very pleased with the agreements. For Matteo this
is his first real experience in car-racing, and after a series
of winter tests I was positively impressed by his tenacity
and by his willingness to learn. For Patrick it will be important
to cancel the poor results he had last year. Tom will have
his debut in a championship which is surely very competitive,
but he has a strong determination and he really wants to improve.
All of them can count on our experience and professionalism."
said Angelo Rosin, Prema Team Principal. "Last year we
concentrated exclusively on the Italian series and participated
in some international events, but this year we will compete
again in the continental series as well."
Matteo Chinosi : "After driving karts for a long time
I will start competing with a racing car . I cannot hide my
emotion and to be a member of Prema Team gives me strong self-confidence
and awareness of my potentials. The apprenticeship will be
very demanding for me, but in the first tests I was able to
confirm the high professionalism of the members of Prema Team
who, certainly, will be a continuous stimulus. The one that
is necessary to reach the objectives that I and the team are
eager to achieve."
Patrick Rocha : "This is going to be the most important
season in my career. Last year I spent a lot of time trying
to know the circuits and the championship and now I feel ready
to fight in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Besides, to be a
member of a professional team, like Prema, makes me feel closer
to my objective. In the last months I worked very hard . I
trained in karts and in the gym. I am looking forward to driving
and starting the tests."
Tom Dillmann : "I am really very pleased to be a member
of Prema Team. I am not sixteen years old yet, but I feel
certain of my potentialities. I am physically and psychologically
ready to work hard and to show my real values. Within a team
like Prema I am in the ideal position to improve under the
best conditions."
