Jones wins second Zhuhai Pan Delta Super Racing Festival race

Christian Jones grabbed the lead at the first corner and never looked back. He was chased home by Ananda Mikola with Tyson Sy third after starting the wet race from the back of the grid. Lee Farrell won the Promotion Class from Greg Murphy and JP Tuason.

The race was not quite wet enough for slicks, perhaps the most treacherous conditions and not surprisingly there was plenty of first corner action. Pepon Marave spun mid turn, having been hit by John O’Hara, causing chaos behind. Tyson Sy and Lee Farrell were the big winners, having weaved their way through the spinners to take third and fourth places. Dado Pena who had been slow off the grid from second place, was tipped into a spin by his team mate, Greg Murphy. The top five were pretty static once the race settled down, with a recovered Marave and Avila settled in fourth and fifth. Pena made his way up from last to seventh. Winslow took fastest lap after pitting at the end of the first lap to have a wheel tightened.
