This
weekend on the German circuit of Hockenheim the second Formula 3
Euro Series Championship will come to an end. Once again an appointment
on the circuit that opened the season this year in April, with Franck
Perera , young French driver member of the Toyota Drivers Academy
Programme, who went onto the podium. It is important to confirm
in this race the good results obtained in the previous appointment
in Brno, where our three standard-bearers returned to the top classification
after a rather disappointing period. The fight for the best rookie
trophy is still going on. Franck Perera leads the classification,
followed by Dutchman Giedo van de Garde. It will be important to
win this title that not only awards money, but also highlights the
good work done by the team and the French driver, who debuted in
Formula 3 in this difficult championship.
After the good performances in Brno, also Roberto Streit and Katsuyuki
Hiranaka will surely be among the top positions. Kohei Hirate, young
Japanese driver from Nagoya who is one of the protagonist in the
Formula Renault Italia 2004 , will also take part. He was not in
Brno, due to family problems, but in Hockenheim he will drive a
Formula 3 vehicle in order to get some experience, in view of next
year's appointments. There are many possibilities of achieving good
results, and the whole team will try to conclude the championship
with honour.
