After
the race on the street circuit of Pau, once again the drivers competing
in the Formula 3 Euro Series Championship will be participating
in an event on a non-permanent track. It is the time of Norisring,
a circuit in the zone of Nuremberg Stadium, to host the participants
of the Championship. No more than two kilometres long, this circuit
is particularly fascinating, as it can host a great number of spectators.
An average of one hundred thousand people are present during the
weekend when Formula 3 and DTM Championships take place. It will
be the first time for Franck Perera and Roberto Streit on this circuit
distinguished by two straights joint by two a hundred and eighty
degrees hairpins which offers the possibility of overtaking. One
of the straights has also a chicane in the middle of its length.
For Hiranaka, instead it is not his first time on this circuit where,
last year, he was having a good performance before taking the first
corner.
There will be twenty-seven vehicles on this track with the inclusion
of the SRT Swiss Racing Team. It will be important for our drivers
to use the hour and a half of free tests to optimize the set up,
on a circuit where the aerodynamic efficiency is minimum and the
speed in the two straights is fundamental.
The format of the weekend comes back to its traditional characteristics,
as in all the races which take place together with the DTM.
