Team
BRM is proud to confirm that 2003 F3 Rookie of the Year, Karl Reindler,
will be staying with Team BRM in 2004 with an all out effort to win
the Championship prior to embarking on a career overseas.
Reindler's
1st year in F3 during 2003 saw him confirm that he is one of the
most exciting young talents in Australian Motorsport with podium
finishes at Phillip Island and Winton despite having only ever raced
karts.
Another
great achievement for Karl was being named as Western Australia's
recipient of the Young Talent Award with the prize being a trip
to Canberra to train at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Karl's
programme will begin with him driving in New Zealand at the Lady
Wigram Trophy Race at Ruapuna Raceway, Christchurch. Karl will be
driving the car used by Darren Palmer to win this prestigious trophy
in 2003.
At
this stage the team has sent 3 cars to New Zealand with the Dallara
398 and the teams 2nd Dallara 301 being earmarked for local New
Zealand drivers to run with Team BRM.
There
is some exciting talent in New Zealand said Bronte Rundle and the
Lady Wigram Trophy Race gives them the opportunity to race these
international F3 cars as a progression for their future careers.
The
team is talking to several New Zealanders about driving for them
in 2004.
