Grand Prix Drivers Preview
Hockenheim (D) July 30th 2003
F.I.A. F.3000 German Grand Prix is one of the most expected events
for Coloni Motorsport, especially this year: Coloni in fact can
proudly announce that Zsolt Baumgartner will carry out the Friday
morning test with the prestigious JordanF1 team. Zsolt has been
chosen by Jordan as test driver (for the Hungarian GP too) and the
Hungarian of Coloni Motorsport will have a main role in the choice
of the right set up in sight of the qualifying and race. Baumgartner
completed yet a 50 km shakedown on Monday July 28th at Silverstone
and he will get for sure good outcomes on a well-known track like
the German one.
Coloni
Motorsport is very pleased that one of his drivers has been chosen
by a Formula 1 team as a test-driver, enlarging the number of drivers
launched in the best autosport series by the Italian team.
Ricardo
Sperafico looks forward to the friendly Hockenheim race:
in Germany Ricardo had obtained in 2001 his first pole position
in F.3000 and one of his first podiums, while in 2002 the Brazilian
took a good sixth place and above all he scored the fastest lap
in race. Thanks to the proved competitiveness of Colonis single-seater,
Sperafico will get certainly a good result.
On
Friday morning the free practice and then the qualifying; Saturday
the race will start at 16,00.
Zsolt Baumgartner: Im very happy! I hope I will
able to do a good job with the JordanF1, for me its a very
big chance to show and prove my qualities in the Formula 1 world.
Im also very confident about the F.I.A. Formula 3000 International
race: I know the circuit, in 2002 too I got a good outcome. Above
all I want to do a good qualifying and to start in the front rows.
Im sure I will finish in the points, also thanks to Coloni
single-seaters qualities: its important for me to get
a good result here.
Ricardo
Sperafico: Hockenheim is one of my favourite tracks. Here
I got my first pole position in F.3000 and one of my first podiums.
Im very confident for the race, given that I achieved always
good results and in 2002 Coloni dominated the GP at the debut of
the new track.
