JUNE
DALLY-WATKINS GROOMS WEST AUSTRALIAN
TEENAGE FORMULA 3 CAR RACING DRIVER
June Dally-Watkins has agreed to take Karl Reindler under her wing
and
professionally groom him. Says Miss Dally, my friend Christine
Leaves, a
Management Consultant, meets with thousands of young hopefuls each
year.
When she introduces me to someone like Karl, I know there must be
something
special about him.
Christine
met the Reindlers when she was recently in Perth. Karl Reindler,
is 18 years old with a background in karting where he has raced
with
distinction for some years. He was introduced to karting at the
age of
five at the Indoor Kart Centre in Perth, but did not commence competitive
kart racing until he was thirteen.
Says
Bronte Rundle, Team BRM Adelaide, our team is constantly looking
for
young talent and we were keen to see Karl in the sophisticated environment
of F3. As team owner I commend Karl to any prospective sponsor as
a good
investment for both the present and the future. He has both an on
and an
off-track talent that will enhance the image of our team and also
any
sponsor. We have offered him a seat in our car for the next 2 years
during
which time we expect him to develop into a championship winning
driver.
Says
Ian Richards, Technical Director Team BRM, Karls mature
approach on
and off the track is ahead of his years. His future will be determined
by
the opportunities that are created for him. He is a rare talent
and a
pleasure to work with.
Karl
Reindler is racing this coming weekend, July 12th & 13th at
Oran Park.
He will stay in Sydney to spend a week with June Dally-Watkins at
her
College in Clarence Street Sydney. Says Karl, I know I have
to become a
marketable product if I want to climb up the ladder to be like a
Mark Webber
or a Schumacher. I am excited about the prospects of
working with Miss
Dally. My brother Christopher, who is 15, is also spending the week
with
Miss Dally. He is currently coming through the karting ranks.
Says
Christine Leaves, Karl and Christopher Reindler have an infectious
passion for driving and I can see them pursuing Formula One. They
have
acquired a lot of local support in Western Australia, and now I
am enjoying
guiding their careers so that they can attain their full potential
in
Formula Racing. This is not the first time June Dally-Watkins has
groomed
a car racing driver and I am sure the Reindlers will not be
the last.
